Koch-Chemie Reactivation Shampoo — a strong-foaming, acidic shampoo that reactivates ceramic seals. Hydrophilic dirt such as dust, limescale and salts builds up on a coated surface and quietly kills the easy-to-clean and hydrophobic effects you paid for. The acidic setting loosens and removes that film, reviving the dirt- and water-repellent properties of the coating.
- Descaling shampoo made specifically for ceramic-sealed surfaces
- Removes hydrophilic dirt: dust, limescale and salts
- Revives the easy-to-clean effect and hydrophobic beading
- Strong foaming for a safe contact wash
- The periodic reset every coated car eventually needs
Remove coarse dirt first with an alkaline pre-cleaner and a high-pressure wash. Dilute 1:200 — 50 mL to 10L for hand washing — which achieves a working pH of 3.0. Wash the pre-cleaned, still-wet vehicle with a washing sponge, rinse thoroughly to avoid stains, then dry off residual water. Available in 1L.
Important — measure it. When using a foam cannon, adjust the pre-dilution so the solution reaching the paint is still around 1:200; know how much your cannon dilutes before you fill it. This is an acidic product in concentrate — running it too strong risks damaging the coating you're trying to revive. Wear gloves and don't let it dry on the surface.
